CTC ATP Scheme
I was wondering if Easy's TRSS has affected the ATP Scheme. I know that the minimum hour requirements are different, but if Easy are getting alot of people through their new scheme then surely this must drastically reduce your chances of being placed through the ATP Scheme. It's not as if this harms CTC as they do the training for both courses.
Has anyone been taken on from the ATP hold pool recently?
How long have you guys in the pool been waiting?
Any replies would be gratefully received.

i've been in the pool for a few months. there has been little to no movement recently, but i assume that summer is the quietest time of year for recruitment at most airlines. I'm hoping it'll pick up in a couple of months.
Unfortunately I don't know how the new easyjet scheme is effecting ATP scheme recruitment, but i hope more airlines than just easyjet will take from the pool.

I've heard there are over 30 in the hold pool right now, with very little movement recently. Hopefully these contracts with easyjet will include a continuation of their commitment to ATP scheme pilots as well as the other programs offered by CTC. It certainly shows that easyjet thinks well of CTC at any rate, as practically every route into the airline from McAlpine cadets through TRSS goes through CTC.

Guys don't worry about the TRSS scheme having an effect on the ATP scheme guys.
The reason it has been so slow owes to the lack of recruitment going on in the summer. ATP cadets will be raked out of the pool in the coming months - just watch (in fact, it has already begun). Don't know whether you noticed but CTC have started selection again on quite a scale (must be a sign of things to come), and not just from eJ!
It'll happen v. soon just watch.

Chaps, seriously now - are you going to take advice from a man who calls himself Bobby Guzzler?
I've been unfortunate enough to see him around in London; occasionally he and his ruffian friends descend on a certain little cafe in Chelsea which I frequent with Simon, my life partner, and make remarks that scandalise the charming Latvian and Kurdish waitresses, not to mention those of us who enjoy alternative lifestyles. They seem to enjoy drinking a concoction called "waa'er" (?) and find something terribly amusing about girls from Newcastle and gentlemen with oriental wives.
I'd steer clear of this one. Obviously a couple of waves short of an ocean.
