In Aeroplane Monthly Michael Draper who crewed 'MG' wrote: 'G-AWMG is seen being loaded for a Sao Tome-Fernando Po shuttle. The maximum permissible load was frequently exceeded. Milk Powder, Salt or Complan cargoes were also sometimes under threat from a leaking fuselage roof during the height of tropical storms.'
