go on the any search engine on the web and type "hotel in paris" you should find some specialised sites presenting a list of cheap hotels, 1,2 or 3 stars at the max with map, direction, prices, pictures...A lot of them are right down-town and realy ok, expect room at around 200 to 400 ff.
