setting up an airfield

Sorry for butting in on your forum in English, but my French is pretty poor.
I'm looking for information on how to go about setting up an airfield in France and are there any sites or if you know anyone who I can contact to find out more.
Any help would be greatly appreciated:)

'fraid not!

Saw your post on Private Pilot and decided not to reply as Skydriller more or less said it all. If you are flying a microlight (and some of them go way faster than GA airplanes) you can set up almost anywhere. I fly a cub and a Tiger Moth over Normandy, at the legal height (but not much higher) and it's amazing how many private strips there are.

If you want to set one up to fly "real" airplanes, then you got to get the DGAC involved..... and those plonkers are no better than the CAA!
