External Go Pro mount legal in France
Hello everyone,
I hope someone can help me. Is an external strut mount for the Go Pro camera legal in France? Any info would be appreciated. Cheers |
There is no specific law against them in France.
However, you will be in all sort of problems if it falls off your aircraft! Whenever I have flown with external go-pro in France (or anywhere else) it is mechanically fixed and not just reliant on a glue pad. |
Thanks for the quick reply and your help. I will make sure it is well attached. Cheers

Under EASA regulations a mechanic has to sign your mount off as being airworthy. You could use an STC'ed mount, which eases procedure, but a CS-STAN approach is also fine (if you find someone signing that, most are full of fear of the new regulations).
