CL44-O N447FT
Thought It time that the situation (the real one), was broadcast.
The owner, a former Flying Tiger's engineer (although there are those in FTL who dispute that) continues to insist that it remains his intention to fly the aircraft out of Hurn. The whole inventory of items now requiring his attention would seem to raise the question as to the type of pill he is now on ! Remember that when the aircraft arrived from the USA, it was declared u/s and indeed, none of the deficiencies or remedies have been addressed. What is known is that both Rolls Royce and Bombardier have now dis-associated themselves with this unique aircraft and indeed, when it was in service with LAC, Rolls Royce had its emblems removed from the engine cowlings. The UK based CL44 Association has, on a number of occasions asked the aircraft's owner if he would willingly donate it to the Assn as indeed LCA had done, but to date, the owner has not responded, |
Why the aversion against the efforts to get her airworthy? Would be great to see her up where she belongs!

It belongs in a museum!
