Emirates end Atlas contract?

Heard that Atlas are no longer flying 744F for them, TNT are left operating for them with three 747s, two in full EK livery.

Correctamundo, but to be more precise EK did not renew the contract. Atlas are just up the road now with Etihad on a smaller scale for now though.
1x744F+1x748F. Sorry to see the Dubai flying go away, it got us through some lean times.:{

That's ACMI flying for you. Always dependent on someone else.

You may say: "AtLast" :)
AtlasAir have made a very good job for EmiratsAirCargo for more than 10 years now. Time for some other players to try their luck.

Kinda like a regional airlines flying their mainline's passenger and in same aircraft livery?...

It is a proven business plan that works...unlike airlines that fly their own pax or cargo, a lot of them haven't made money in a long time.

From a pilot and employee standpoint, they haven't forgotten to send a check to my bank...ever!! So, I couldn't care less how it is done...

Atlas seems to be losing in many places.
They came into Marana a few months ago.
One aircraft for storage, engine drops etc.
One pax for C check.
The C check had so many man hours added to it that everyone was angry.
Marana does not want their business.
After this all fell apart word was Atlas tried to go back to Mobile for there heavy work.
Mobile said not so fast!
This one is worth watching, sorry no cheap whores for your C checks atlas.
You pay like everyone else.

Atlas used to be pretty tight on on their D check contracts. In fact they used to hold a bidding conference and invite MROs worldwide. The fixed man hours per non routine card was listed in the requirements. I can't imagine the C checks being any different?
