Can anyone confirm that someone IS working on the Belfast at Cairns with a view to having it made airworthy.

Here's some latest info; though not strictly correct as the Belfast does not require a Navigator and the MTOW is 231,000 lbs.

Although, after a freight check weigh on arrival Singapore, we found that we had taken off from Saigon at just over 250,000lbs...... but that's another story!

Boscombe Down actually tested the old girl at 250,000 lbs and we expected that this might result in an MOS (Military Operating Standard) being authorised at that weight but nothing came of it before we went bust.
