AeroLogic Interview and Per diem

Hello,

I have been offered interview with AeroLogic for F/O position. What can I expect? Any tips?

I expect more or less level of salary I may get (if I pass of course) but I am wondering how much per diems do you take home per month?

Thanks

Jarema,

Regarding money and other T&C's, there's a PDF to download on their website (AeroLogic Application)

Are you fluent in German if I may ask?

Good luck

expect what they told you in the invitation letter. Furthermore, nose factor plays a very important role. They just want to get to know you and see if you fit in.
All in all, straight forward, no bulls***ting, feedback about your results right after every stage.

Nose factor and good connections are important. One new FO from flight school without any experience started a few month ago. His father is a checker from the FBL's former company LTU.
Rumours from Vereinigung Cockpit, a German labour union for pilots, blamed about inhuman behaviour.
FO with no typerating starts with 40.000 € per year, no extras. This means for a single who have to pay taxes in Germany less than 2000 € per month.

Here you will find the German Net Income Calculator

Just take the gross figures from here

Example:
Single FO in salary scale 01 (F01), no kids, not member in a church, health insurance contribution standard 15,5%, born 1980, with pension and unemployed insurance, living in Saxonia:

Gross salary: €45.000 per year
Gross salary: € 3.750 per month

20% of the gross salary are paid net to compensate for weekends, legal holidays and night hours:

20% of € 3.750 = € 750

Taxable income:
€ 3.750 - € 750 = € 3.000

Insert € 3.000 in the filed gross salary and run the calculation:

Result: € 1.864,13

Add the 20% tax free amount of € 750 to receive the monthly net income of € 2.614,13

Now it's about to you to judge!
