There was one guy out there, looking for a job in scandia as well, but i cant recall the name.
You might try the search option at pprune, maybe that works.
As far I know,SAS was hiring only nationals, but that might have changed.
Good luck!

thanks for the wishes LE.

Yes, SAS only hire nationals unless you have a "lot more flying time in heavy traffic". (literal translation). At least that was the reply to me.

Hmm,that's wondering for me,then i heard some totally different arguments from SAS.
They have a need for pilots. So,i wonder, why they don't take you with your amount of hrs.
They said a friend of mine, that they would hire him,he has a swedish-passport but dosn't speak or write one of the requested languages.
Whats happen with all the other airlines up there (Braathens etc.)?
Good luck
(How does it look, when you convert your licence with SAS-Flight Academy ?)

Hi !

I think Flying Enterprise has some Australian (or NZ) pilots working on the SAAB340s.

About SAS. I thought it was OK to get a job with them, as long as you speak the language, have a right to work in the EU (I guess that means a JAR license as well) and meet their med. & other requirements. I might be wrong though...

Mango,

thanks for the wishes - at present I am recovering from 4 days of the best snow of my life - and nursing cuts and bruises from a 300 foot fall. I'll be back to the tropics in a week. And moving to the big smoke!
