Caravan freighter

in aussie terms, what's the payload/range like for a Caravan Freighter over 400nm?

specifically, what speeds to expect?
and @ 1500 hr/annum at MTOW, what sort of operating costs are likely?

cheers

I used to flight plan with a block speed of 150KTAS and a fuel burn of 360 Lbs/Hr. The Caravan can take a maximum load of 3400lbs. The Factory MTOW is 8750, however, many operators have an upgross kit. The machines I flew had a MTOW of 9062lbs. More often then not we were limited by the Max Landing wieght of 8500, however, there are kits up up that figure as well. Empty wieght in the frieght configuration was roughly around 4900lbs. Max fuel is 2224 lbs. That's all I can think to tell you. Any other questions let me know..

Cheers

ps, forgot to add, these figures are for the C208B (with pod)

3 Wood,

If you send me a PM and I'll give you some 208B operating details, currently fly a new 208B.
