Lionair Cargo
Just read in an aviation mag that a Scotish company, registered in Sierra Leone and operating out ouf SHJ will be using 9 L1011-200F-ex Arrow Air !
Anybody any clues ? It will not be the Guvnor, will it ?? |
Which mag would that be?

Latest edition JETSTREAM !

Maybe ex Kalitta or converted Delta L10s, because I see Arrow's L10s still busy in South America.

If its a bonefide airline - it won't be Robertson...

Negative. FineAir/ArrowAir is operating just 3 converted -200Fs (1158/1131/1138) + 1 200F (1133) sitting in the desert.
Then Caribjet operating 1 200F (late production 1212) and rumors says they going to take another 1 or 2 from desert soon (ex KittiHawk). Remaining 200F units are in desert. In total there are only 10 converted 200F (4 in service + 6 in desert) and no one is crazy to make a fresh convertions. So it is a total bull***t that some one is going to operate 9 200Fs. |

According to Speednews the remaining 5 ex Kalitta -200f have gone to Lanta;) |
Since when does a spotter read speednews... I know the Guv does... or am I getting paranoid..

Guess what is the relation between Lanta and Caribjet? ;) I know they purchased remaining units, however it is questionable if all of them will be flying, but at least 1 or 2 - for sure. |

Required reading for serious spotters! That and the Scottish Daily Mail;) ;) |
I heard that a Caribjet L1011F was parked in (OST) Ostend.
Also another Caribjet L1011F in (MSE) that one was tail number V2-LFQ which I think is Antiqua I'm sure "The Guvnor" would know all about it! |
