Zurich parked bird back in service Oct/Nov.
DC-10F, whisper it quietly, heading for knackers yard.

.....which operates as a trustee company for non-US nationals owning N-registered aircraft (mostly Europe-based).

.....and is to be ferried Liege-Bangor-Crestview Florida today July12th for scrapping (also according to Skyliner website). Let's see if that happens.

According to Flightaware, N495DC landed at Bob Sikes Airport - Crestview, FL from Bangor at 19.19 CDT on 13/07/2013.

Well apart from money problems of which non payment of crew and ground staff is only one, there are redundancies in Amesbury, but oddly money seems to flow into 'special projects' .:confused:

I heard they have some of the MD-11 parked in exotic locations to avoid impounding in Europe?

An AV Cargo MD11F took off before us from Liege on Monday so there's at least one still flying.

One left Liege this afternoon, the other back in tomorrow morning. All running fine, but thank you for asking.

Sounds like money is being sorted out especially crew (unless anyone knows different),sad that some good people lost their jobs though.
I'd say watch this space as I'd be surprised if this particular leopard has changed its spots!:=
