Martinair turning all cargo? What will happen to employees?

What will happen to the Martinair Holland pilots when they go all cargo? Will any be allowed to move over to KLM? Will KLM give up their 4 744F's to Martinair? Will the 767 pilots be allowed to bid for MD11F or 744F? What are the initial plans? Cheers.

The 747F have already been operated by MPH for sometime.

The subject is (very heatedly.....) debated right now.
In a nutshell: All 4 KLM ERF aircraft are currently operated by Martinair; two as dry-lease and two as wet-lease. Martinair`s 767`s will be phased out by the end of next year, maybe even sooner.
The Martinair pilots will probably end up flying the remaining 7 MD-11`s and 4 ERF aircraft, with perhaps some junior pilots moving over to KLM. How the KLM pilots will be compensated for the loss of 4 of the top paying aircraft to the cheaper sister is being debated as we speak.....
In this scenario the job losses at the cheaper sister are being transfered to mainline. Not a good strategy for advancing your T&C`s as a pilot group, so care is needed.

The Martinair (767-)cabin crew will all be moving over to KLM, but how and where is also still being debated.....

Do the 767 pilots look forward to moving on to the Md11 or 744F, or are they trying to move on to other airlines? Seems like a potential hostile situation, but hopefully all will be resolved between the unions. Are there any Martinair pilots on this site now that could comment on which would be the better fleet to move to for those pilots? Do the MD11s do more flying to the US and South America, whereas the 744Fs do Asia? Is that how it works generally? Cheers.
