DHL gives Airlift Int'l the boot.
I believe DHL Bahrain has given wet lease operator, Airlift International and their Ghanaian registered DC-8's 24 hours to pack up shop and vacate the premises amidst rumours of serious irregularities. Anyone have more details??

Ghana is Category two...not surprised.

Isn't Airlift Int'l a Viktor Bout operation ?!

From an ATC point of view, the DHL DC8 crews leave much to be desired. Whoever is responsible for them, please get them to listen out and pay attention. Their RT is poor and they are often unresponsive.

Near miss
Agree with that 1962, i know the ATCO who had 2 weeks off due stress caused by very near miss in jan involving johnsons and gulf air (same outfit) - beleive that the crew were sacked (for reporting it!!!:=)

Atakacs, you're right..
You say Airlift Intl, you say Johnsons Air, and there you go, connected with V.Bout and gun running. Not very ethical, ladies and gents at DHL... |
