Part of the job description is "Balancing safety, customer needs and economic variables." Sounds like a fun tightrope to walk.

DMahon 25th Jan 2009 06:29

hmmm

then it's right up my alley, an Atlas Air clone perhaps?

abhi88 25th Jan 2009 08:53

Saw the ad in local newspaper here. Their requirements are pretty high for FO's, 3000TT of which 2000 Jet hours and 1000 in L382.:(

K9nads 25th Jan 2009 09:46

I know times are hard but that is asking alot, must be paying well :hmm:

ferhankaka 25th Jan 2009 11:02

Dispatchers

any idea what they are going to be paying dispatchers out there?

abhi88 25th Jan 2009 14:49

Not confirmed, but I've heard that their pay for people working in OPS dept is the best among all the cargo companies here.:bored:

Top Loadie 29th Jan 2009 18:53

Anybody able to shed some light on routes and contracts? I heard they are/were signed up with a number of national carriers...

747loadie 1st Feb 2009 22:07

Loadmasters

Are they recruiting LM's and if so what qualifications are they looking for and what is the renumeration?

Wings Of Fury 3rd Feb 2009 12:57

I heard from a U.K based recruitment agency (I think) that there was a Sudan hub that suited there operation schedule, and pilots were spending up to 3 months there?

UN-Coordinated 6th Feb 2009 19:53

Routes

I have seen them in Geneina (HSGN) and Nyala (HSNN) recently with L-382 A/C seem to have some kind of contract with Arab nations serving their brothers here in Sudan. Crew were mix of DXB nationals and ex SAFAIR Crew. As far as I know they route DXB - KRT (Night Stop) - DARFUR

Jacobest 7th Feb 2009 11:14

747loadie, yes, they are looking for loadies, on the airbus as well as on the C-130

Wings of Fury- I think you must have heard wrong then. All crews do two weeks tour in Sudan (Khartoum)

Wings Of Fury 8th Feb 2009 00:05

Yeah Jacobest, that sounds more like it,

UN-Coordinated, is it just the L-382 you have seen in KRT? Has the A300-600 also been there? I would like to know what routes the Airbus does?

superspotter 9th Feb 2009 12:24

Not very many at the moment, the A300 has been sat outside the maintenance hangar at ADD since the change of regisration from TF- to A6- for at least five weeks to my knowledge.

HercDriver 18th Mar 2009 05:56

Spoke briefly with a recruiter today. He is suppose to be forwarding more info tomorrow. I meet the FO requirements. I am more interested in what the general thoughts are about this company? Are they in for the long haul? Or will they be gone in a few short years? I was quoted a very good salary plus housing and school allowances.

As to the above... are you saying the crews spend two weeks in the Sudan and then rotate back to Doha?

XpressOne 18th Mar 2009 13:41

Pilots/Loadmaster recruitment

They are recruiting in all areas see www.maximus.aero - the base for crews is in Abu Dhabi - watch out for a major news announcement for Airbus Freighter contract starting in July for a scheduled service operator

HercDriver 18th Mar 2009 14:11

So this company is up and coming and growing then?

aeroground 18th Mar 2009 14:25

very much so

Inspecthergadget 18th Mar 2009 14:29

They are recruiting in all areas
Don't see anything in Ops or Crewing so ALL areas is incorrect.
