Air Atlanta Cargo
Anybody heard any news about Air Atlanta picking up three 747-200SF for a Saudia contract.
|
Air Atlanta was running two 747 cargo and four passenger aircraft ACMI for Saudia.
Unless things have changed in the last few weeks. |
I've seen a Saudia -400CF at HKG with "TF" reg.
|
Air Atlanta
Currently Air Atlanta have 1 -400 TF-AMI,and 2 -200F TF-AMC,TF-ARM, operating for Saudia. All are in Saudia colours.

Thanks for that info.
But I heard they were taking extra capacity out storage from Mojave. |
Yep it looks like 3 freighters!
|
heard TF-AAA ex focus n361FC going to SV...
or was already there |
AA going up to 6 aircraft for Saudi. Info on atlanta.is
|
was already there Mutt |
Saudia Cargo, or Saudia, a difference................there both absolutely crap.
|
I do remember a few weeks back one of the AA guys there saying 6 airplanes and Saudia wanted more as haj approached.
Seems AA is doing good these days. |
there both absolutely crap Mutt |
Interesting statement, but based on what? Those that don't 'go with the flow' and constantly 'make waves' are destined for the exit visa only. Generally in short order. One has to remember that SV is one of the oldest airlines in the middle east (started with the assistance of TWA, a long time ago) so they definitely know what they are doing and further, do not appreciate 'johnnie come latelys' telling 'em how to run their company. I watched a number of the latter come and go over the years...and I suspect many of these same folks would not be happy anywhere they choose to work....IE: professional troublemakers. |
Any updated information on AA recruitment? Minimum requirements for LHS? I would love to fly almost anywhere in the world and I've done a research already but info available seems to be a bit out of date?
Thank you |

Both? I make that 3. SV, SV cargo and AA |
weido salt, you are correct.
AA is crap but a great deal of fun.......those three complement eachother well. |
The same Air Atlanta ?
Would this be the same Air Atlanta that only months ago, any mentioning of would cause outpour of emotions and feelings ?
If I'm right, they might just turn out to be the only -200F survivor ? They must be doing something right then. |
"They must be doing something right then. " At the moment yes, they have aircraft that can be used and AA are not paying for the fuel, ACMI.
However, they will be dumped very quickly if/when the airlines decide they are actually burning too much fuel. |
Saudia and its Middle East cousins, [EY,EK,QR,GF, etc]. . . are not suffering much pain at the fuel pump.
Saudia, in fact, can still be seen in Asia operating a number of classic 74s on their own . . . with "HZ" reg. :ooh: As to "classic 74s" . . . plenty to be seen everyday at HKG cargo ramp, including Cathay's and DragonAir's own...! At SYD you can still see Quantas classic 300s at work....! |
TF-AAA is currently replacing TF-ARM while in c-check.
Afterwards it will go into MASKargo operation ( together with TF-AAB, the 2nd ex Focus B742 ). |
