i want to correct my last post in the meanwhile deleted VC thread.
After further searches i realised that the information received from an ex VC pilot was wrong and not true. Seems he was very angry and not very objective. Sry for beeing so stupid to post this wrong information.

Is Ocean Airlines flying again..??!! Did they pay the overdue salaries to their emplyeed..??

I am not too sure, but I believe that promises are not money even if this is the only coin abundant at Ocean...:=

Don't believe that they are flying yet, but there are certainly people trying to make it happen....... CEO seems to know where he is going!

They have added a new destination Istanbul (SAW) and have dropped Luanda, Abu Dhabi and Nagoya.

WHy dont they add Disneyland, Wonderland and anywhere else.
Its all fiction. Ocean going nowehere at present.

Ocean Airlines has DEFINITELY ceased all the activities.

Hope all the best to all the employees (approx 100 including pilots and ground staff) still in force to Ocean

On the Italian forum is confirmed Ocean filled for bankrupcy.

Sorry to hear this and my best wishes to all the people in Ocean (Italians primarily) I hope that they get what they are due from Ocean Airlines and start a new life with another airline with honest and commited aviation professionals

"If nothing would be received, the Board has authorized Rossano (Ocean airlines CEO) to file for bankruptcy", in fact,there is noting received on 16/04/2008,the day was important, but no one can save the company,include the Board,invenstors and CEO.Related people work for Ocean or co-operate with Ocean already have no confidence.Meanwhile,for Ocean staffs,there is a good and bright career ahead,dont miss another opportunity.

Hello everybody,

just for your info, last Thursday Mr De Luca officially filled for Bankruptcy.

It was no longer possible to continue with false promises...

All the a/c and engines belongs to the banks so it is hard to say what will happen.

Now traffic jam of creditors asking for their money...!

Good luck to the ones remained without work..
