Air Atlanta?

Saw a 747-200 in ANC today May 13 at about 0100 GMT. Who is Air Atlanta Icelandic?

CargoOne 14th May 2001 12:56

take a look on
http://www.atlanta.is
they operating 15 747s (-100, -200, -300), L1011 and 767s, specializing on ACMI leases.

Actually, their L1011s have all gone now - one to Orient Thai; the balance have been stored or broken up.

CargoOne 15th May 2001 15:46

Guv, why it goes to Orient Thai, not to you?

Atlanta still have one L1011 left (TF-ABT)
its supposed to be operating from Ireland
for the summer, but at the moment its in MAN
covering for the late delivery of the 3rd b767 http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/eek.gif

TF-ABD is now XU-122 with Kampuchea Airlines
(AKA Orient Thai) its still in basic Atlanta
colours, but it looks very tired http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/frown.gif

Is Air Atlanta flying cargo these days?

Tarek Nor 18th May 2001 06:45

Not anymore. The B737-200's went to the US
