http://www.skyliner-aviation.de/view...av2&picid=4355 Who or what is Pronair? Where do they fly, where are they based? |
Google .............capital G - oh - oh - gee - el - ee - GOOGLE :ok:
Google is your friend |
I cannot belive it, you just type p r o n a i r into the google search and....now it comes......it gives you a direct link to the website of this airline....fantastic....can you belive this???
The guy who invented this "goggel" or how ever it is called, must make a lot of money with this. :} |
I wasnt looking for smart a**se answers here. I thought it might
be of interest that a heretofore non-mentioned cargo airline would generate some discussion on a Pilot forum. Particularly since they operate classic B747F aircraft and there has been alot of discussion about classic crews recently. If I wanted childish replies, I would have gone to a childrens forum. |
Take it easy, all your questions could be answered with their website which you could find with google.
If you want a discussion, just ask the right questions. A lot of people ask questions which could be answered with a little search on google. And somethimes we just think to be a little funny :} |
Turns out this aircraft is the ex G-INTL. I guess this old bird
did live to fly another day. |
This is indeed ex-AFX bird with famous -70A engines :}
|
Now to be EC-KMR, so surprise surprise back onto an EASA register.
She is reported to be joined by an Ex Air France classic later in spring 2008. Hope it helps Be lucky David |
Hasn't enough money been pissed away trying to make money with these -70A airplanes. I guess their so cheap, noone can resist.
|
G-INTL spent weeks outside CLX's hangar at ELLX a few years ago when AFX was flying for them. As far as I can remember, corrosion in the fuel tanks was one of the more complicated issues. Along with a fist full of other stuff.

Just watched the video on the Pronair site. It shows a 747 taking off but not bringing the gear up for some reason. That's how to impress the customer!
Love the paint job though. |
I don't know which -70 engined jumbo this is but if it is the old 921FT the company will go out of business trying to fix it.

EC-KMR
I saw this airplane took off after D check
Nice color in the sky and I can clearly saw the landing gear up properly I took some pictures of this aircraft but I dont know how to attach in this forum.....:ok: |
The Pronair website video shows an all white 747 so I presume it's the same airplane pre paint job.
|
It is the former G-INTL, and we didn't go broke getting her back in the air, despite a lenghty stay at Garuda. Try finding TR actuators for -70A's. My word....
|
Any news, is it flying now?
|
Heard a rumour
I heard a rumour from a reliable source that Pronair are going to fly for the Chinese - China to Parchim. +300 hrs per month. Don`t know how long for.:)
