Boeing 744LCF Beluga!
Never knew of this, resembles the An-124 http://www.boeing.com/news/releases/...r_050222g.html

Resembles the AN124 only in the fact it has 4 engines!! :E other than that its a 124 :ok:
VEEPS |
Who's gonna operate them for Boeing?
Last I read was that Boeing was going to farm out the operation of them to a comercial operator? Anyone know who's in the frame? My first guess was one of Atlas, Southern, Evergreen, Kalitta et al.
Will they be available on the open market? |
Nothing like the AN124 whatsoever only that the upper deck is pressurised. The Boeing LCF is a SWINGTAIL product, the An124 is nose and tail loading but is Antonov isnt Swingtail.
B747LCF has 4x engines and is planned to be on the basis of a converted B744F. I understand Evergreen Aircraft Technoligies (Taiwan) are involved in this, i.e. the EVA group not EIA in the USA. Flight International reported this one or two weeks ago. |
antonov
Tha An124 has 4 engines like the 747 maybe you thought about the An225 which has 6 engines but you should learn better about airplanes as all antonov's have high wings and boeings are low wings except for C17 (ex douglas) that is high wings.
LOL |
A swingtail. Now what a good idea.:ok:

Zones:
I guess they're talking to a lot of people, us included. |
Hmmm............
I hope the fuse pins they use in the hinges are stronger than the fuse pins they use to hold on the engines:E |
