MD11F door size question
 

Anyone out there with experience on this a/c ? (only every worked with 74s myself).

Some freight agent is claiming we should be able to load a piece of freight 362 x 342 x 235 cms, square box because "LH can".

Side-door on the 74 is 341cms in between the latches (and I won't go that close anyway, too much risk of damage).

Nose door also out of the question.

Is the MD11's side-door wider than the 74?

indeed it appears to be

356x260 for the 11 as opposed to 305x340 for the jumbo (200 series)
