The problem is that PB is back in charge and with his own individual interventionist approach to airline/aircraft management/maintenance,I don't give it too long, just look at his 'previous'!Also his aircraft are such one-offs,particularly in the engine department, plus the general underfunding (rumour has it he has 300K to throw away this time)..sorry,but I give it a couple of months... INTL did need an u/c overhaul, but I hear PB has an extension on that.I thought the plane was going to Hahn for maintenance..but probably BA at EGFF makes more sense..no outstanding bills.
I'd heard that *** ******** was the new CP,I wonder if PB has taken back all his dolly birds in various positions of clueless power at LGW and MAN? ...I'd stay at EAAC!

AFX
Another 747 freighter ( AFX 7000) arrived at LHR today around lunchtime - obviously an ex Korean -200 to join the one by the British Midland hangar. I gather one will be going to KUL and the other to HKG, via DXB operated by their own crews. Looks like Philip Bowles means business at last!
