As far as I.know he built the sim himself. I believe he got the plywood panels that made it up as some sort of kit. The computer bits were all pretty expensive. He had about thirty k in it.

It was offered to a guy looking at buying the sim and running CPL training for 80K and using the AGL Seneca. Bet that chap is breathing a sigh of relief!

Loyalty, to someone who's just gone bang for a reported 1.5-2 million and is blatantly using other peoples money and borrowing from everyone? Fairly questionable business practice if you ask me, he clearly kept AGL afloat using funds he was never going to be able to repay.

I'm looking forward to my trip to Blackpool now, should make an interesting conversation.

Clyde..

You are at cross purposes...The sim you are talking about is a 757 sim that he built in his garage.

The sim we are on about is the FNPTII that was used for CPL/IR training, at the now "fu*cked"...FA Blackpool.

Tony Savage

I'm confused by the web of his affairs. I have found the following article, looks like his Hangar and has same business name. So how is this??

With regard to post #133. A little gob****e with a surname beginning with the letter 'V' perhaps? The same little gob****e with the stickly landing gear lever @Barton? Perhaps someone should take a look into the business interests of said individual and his partner. Interesting, very interesting.

I believe the fnpt ii is "owned" by the airport under a chattel mortgage. Basically due to monies owed. One of the other schools is using it, so they may have purchased it or be paying the airport to use it.

Tony Savage ran the school at Blackpool for a while, under a sort of franchise arrangement, but I dont think the arrangement ever gave him any chance to make any money, and was another elaborate plate spinning scheme to try and keep the school afloat, so he made a wise move and handed it back.

Goodness, what a lot of nasty vitriol is pouring forth. Surely a close rival to the catholic churchs handling of abuse. Hasn't this all been said elsewhere before, example :..... buyer beware, do business with people you like, do business with people you TRUST, do your due diligence checks,, dont cry over spilt milk, horse has bolted, lie down with lions......
Surely if you look into someones eyes there will be a clue. Interviewers do it, police do it, instinct works. My young granddaughter will spend a lot of time looking into another mans eyes....to make that silent judgement....can i really trust this person. Instinct at work and praises be for that.
There are clues out there which nature intended us to find.

kick us in the n*** why not!

Koi, thanks for the advice, a bit late for all the people owed money, employees included, and even later for the poor girls he groomed and possibly abused.
I hope life is great in your mighty temple of wisdom and I trust you didn't stand on anyone to get up there? They might be waiting on the way down.

Something of what you say may have rang a bell. Sometimes people get carried away in various situation and especially so, in business, and only find out their mistakes too late.

Have you looked in the mirror into your own eyes lately?.....did you see anything that resembled a brain by any chance?

Space cadet comes to mind....

Go find a nice big puddle to sit in and cool whatever should be between your ears down......

Mr Treadstone,

Goodness gracious Sir, you do sound a little disrespectful. Did you do
a Blackpool CSE in good manners by any chance. Anyway.....
If you go into a brokers with say five grand to invest, they will sit you down, give you coffee and start checking your attitude to risk. 'How do you want to play it....how much excitement would you like'. All eyeball to eyeball stuff, as each party assesses exposure / risk / reward etc.. Up to the point of signing or handing over your money, you can simply walk away. It is one of lifes bitter lessons and often played out in a court of law. That you got stung should be a salutory lesson. Actor - Robert 's Carlisles famous 7 p's might help. Proper Planning and Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance

Except in Seville's case there was no risk involved for any of his investors. 'Risk' means that there is at least some uncertainty concerning the outcome. When you play the lotto you take a risk, because though it's likely that you will lose your stake, there is a chance you might win.
But if you take cash-money and throw it into a fire, there is no risk. Just an absolute certainty that you will never see your money again.

I refer you to my last reply, Sir....

Just to put the record straight, I have never had any business dealings with the scumbag Seville. I just hate the guy with a passion, for the way he treated people around him.

I will not take a one inch step back on my feelings, I really do hope he dies in prison..

Koi,

So do you know Craig Seville? You see i'm curious, i've searched some of your postings.

on 5th December 2005 you wrote regarding DHL

The job is fine and getting better. Fair roster, Live where you want within reason, report and then enter the network for 5 to seven on and then days off back at EMA. Well maintained airframes, quieter working environment, experienced crews and high standard of operation. Tiring at night , yes, but no more than flogging around with the charters day and night with slot times or enjoying your 100 hrs a month east west oceanic. Money purchase pension 5% contribution and 5 star hotels to rest. Some dont enjoy this lifestyle, fair enough, but the security is there, big time. Jobs a goodun. cheers koi
This seems to indicate you have first hand knowledge of DHL. Then in 2011 you wrote

You must reside in LEJ, pay german tax as a resident when there, have english as a spoken language that can be easily understood by the other international crews and show CRM skills to fit in with a highly professional workforce.
The contract is limited duration to comply with union rules and protection for the existing first officers. The job is demanding but decent time off compared with contract work or the sandpit.
Hotac is great, allowances reasonable, aircraft well maintained.
You wont sniff a 767 for some years. Bit of a political waiting game meanwhile.
The management and training staff are fair.
Rosters are easy, just follow the rules, live NEAR work and pay your taxes and suddenly it all gets sweet. Limited fixed block roster may be available but not necessarily for contract folks.
If you fit in, then that is fine, if not you will soon realise and move.
Cargo makes huge profit compared to SLF. No cabin crew is just purrfectt.
Again indicating first hand knowledge of DHL and it certainly seems you have been with them for some time. So i'm curious as to how you know Mr Seville.

Then in 2009 you wrote
Try Global Aviation at Manchester. Ms Di Worby is an excellent Instr /Examiner. Rates aregood.
Regards Koi
Seeming to indicate a Manchester location

Koi, you need to get a grip. If i'm going to bother searching your posts i'm going to read them all! Had a bit of time on my hands on a 2 day SFO, you can only see the Golden Gate bridge so many times.

You are very defensive by the way. Why don't you just answer the question.

SFO can't be that boring, had two days in CMN but still wouldn't be bothered to go fishing for tiddlers.
