Freight pilot in sex case

The pilot involved in the case is believed to also fly for one of the big European freight companies.

Delilah

Makes sense as I remember him singing Delilah in BRU. How apt.

As DHK Management always said "Hes one of our best".

Good grief. Oh well - that probably takes care of his career and flying school then if found guilty.

I went into the office one day with a whole pile of training records that I had generated from a week in the simulator.

My boss was in the (open plan) office going on about how we needed more simulator instructors. I said "why don't we check out *********?"

Come into my office said he.

It transpired that ********? was in Barlinnie Prison in Glasgow on what we would now call "sex with a minor" sort of offence.

I simply could not believe what I was hearing for I thought I knew ******** very well and we had been in the RAF together.

Sadly, I was wrong, paedophiles come from every section of society from the BBC, the Government, the Judiciary and the Police Force.

Peodofile Pilot

He has only been charged... But all the same this is not good for his companies like Aircraft Grouping which already has its own financial issues to cope with! Not good for anyone really, very sick and sad!!

Any ideas what this is likely to do to his company, Aircraft Grouping? Was hoping to buy into their Cirrus no equity scheme but am concerned about the long term financial security, especially considering they've just sold off the associated flying school and some of the aircraft.

Question

That will depend on the outcome of the
Court proceedings and details that emerge

Business is based on trust and reputation
So if serious and proven then very likely to
Adversely affect AGL, if less serious then less impact

Won't know until close of proceedings but
Not a positive either way and definitely unwelcome
Given current state of things

With regards to Aircraft Grouping we are operating as normal from Blackbushe, with no plans to cease operating.

Why don't you phone them up and ask them, rather than relying on anonymous rumour forums?

How long have you been told you'll be before you get your PPL? If you're very close, you may as well buy in now. If it's going to be a few months yet, I'd leave it, because you won't know what the group status will be in a few months time.

More to come ?

I am told that the current charges have arisen from evidence that was discovered during investigation into unconnected issues, there is the posability that further charges may arise from the original investigation.
