Quite a few of them on on their hollies in Latvia - they were in the next check-in desk to me on Thurs p.m. Nothing new to report from them - Airwing being given more time to get the money in from other pastures.

PLEASE NOTE - above does not relate to the message I posted regarding recruitment at BAC... no discrimination there. Just thought I would clarify as it could have been mis-read that way.

Hi there,

No not mis read, Ian is Flybe. I did contact BAC but they are only interested in Shorts 3-60 type rated pilots as they dont have facilities/examiners/or approvals or some other reason at the moment. Or all of the aforementioned. Dunno didnt chat for to long.

Any type rated pilots go for it.

shed TRTO

Same reply for me too TF. The thing is, and correct me if i'm mistaken, there aren't many, if any, shed pilots out there looking for work. Most of the Sky Jem boys have moved onto bigger and better things. I don't think there is anyone in Europe who has a 360 TRTO. There is a possibility in the US, but I don't know what the procedure would be for converting back in the UK.

If anyone has any thoughts/advice/help on this matter it would be greatly appreciated.

KPMG Sell Off

Hi Folks

Heard the latest thing to come out of the Joke that it is KPMG last night, There are now taking offers on items within the Emerald Company, and the highest offer wins that item (i.e. An open auction for everything) oh well if thats the only way to get money for the company, what a very sad way for a company to go.

KPMG what a good idea to bring them in to try and retrieve some money back

Also good to hear now that most of the flight deck have got themselves sorted out finally now, but lets all keep an eye out still, and our fingers crossed for the cabin crew as i was told last night that the girls that went to EuroManx have been offered full-time contracts but only if they up and move sticks over to the Isle Of Man.Keep your chins up and i am sure something good will come along soon.

A quick personnal message to Andy " keep your chin up mate your bound to land on your feet shortly".

Good luck to everyone else.

KPMG are not there to save the company, they are there to sell off the assets in order to (firstly!) pay for their fees and secondly to get what they can for the many creditors. The fees continue to mount so they will not sit for ever waiting for a "buyer" to appear. If nobody is interested (as seems likely) they will sell everything for what they can get. It is how all insolvency companies work. They do not take prison ers!

KPMG have taken so long to sell what assets Emerald had, you can be sure there will be nothing left in the pot for the hard working employees that were left short!!! Shafted right to the end!!!
