Swapping
It seems that in the current situation of having one's roster changing on an increasingly frequent basis, swaps are very favorable to the company. As soon as you do a swap, your credit hour total gets reduced by whatever you swapped for. This is fair enough however what is happening often now is your roster is then subsequently changed a few times and you still lose all the credit. I talked to a guy who did 100 credit hours and got NO overtime because of this.
