Air Macao: Captain arrested on board!
A Brasilian Captain was arrested on board of an Air Macau aircraft when he was set to departure on a Flight to Taiwan.
While still on the bridge during the crew change he violently attacked a Chinese First Officer from the incoming Flight. The agression took several minutes and the local FO had to receive medical treatment at the hospital due to severe laceration on his face. The boarding was suspended and when the police was called the wild Brazilian Captain locked himself inside the cockpit for several minutes resisting to police orders. After that he was arrested and taken to the police station. All this is the result of the indiscipline accumulated for several months that have been ignored by the unexperienced Director of Flight Operations and a third choice Chief Pilot. The image and the safety of the Company are now severely affected by this abnormal incident and they are the responsibles. This is the right time for the Chairman of a Company that belongs to Air China and the Civil Aviation Authority of Macau to investigate these unconcious ahead of the flight division. Shame on you! |
You didn't mention the reason for the attack. Was it unprovoked? If so, yes, shame shame shame, or do they have a history?????
|
It's the same old story which involve a female cabin crew according to the latest information.
Today Air Macau will make an announcement to the press to explain the events caused by this savage Brazilian Captain and we are looking forward to see what excuse they will find. Let`s see also what the Company will do with those incompetents ahead of the flight Operations. |
Were the Brazilians initials PC?

I told you so!!!!
Gentleman, Gentleman! Take it easy. Wait for the facts. It’s too early to take conclusions. Lets start with real facts. If you remember, a couple of months ago, I wrote about an crazy F/O who attacked several Captains. That was just the beginning. We all new that something like this would happen in Air Macau. It was just a question of time. There is no rule or law in Air Macau. CP should have done something to stop this violence escalade. An example should have been done at that time with that mad F/O. Now it is too late. This was already discussed here, and everywhere were Air Macau people gather. Now today, was the final result of a lack of leadership, inexperienced Management, and “Godfathers”. Lot worse was the event of the F/O who attacked several Captains (verbally and physically), but nothing was done. Why? Because of his Godfathers, because of the actual CP, and because none of the attacked pilots were Chinese. And now? What kind of “sentence” will be applied in this case? Same facts, same problems, but different people! Where is this going? F/Os lost their respect towards Captains, and no punishment? I am sure that this Brazilian Captain has to buy a car from the VPFO, or an expensive watch from one of the Instructors in order NOT TO HAVE A PUNISHMENT!!!!! Other people did it in this Airline. For an upgrade, or for not to be fired after reporting sick from a party (where he got drunk and had a fight), or to be nominated as Instructors. For any reason there was a gift or a party, or a dinner. Shame on you all!!! VPFO, you just love to hide behind your desk. Chief pilot you should be ashamed of yourself from doing nothing. You should have resigned when you didn’t take any action towards that crazy F/O. Safety Officer? Somebody??? Nobody! Zero!! Nothing was done. You are all there just for the Status, CV and money/power!!! Shame on you all!!! Capt. A., I hope you all the best. You shouldn’t have done that. Now you have consequences. You are a nice guy, I like you. Wish you good luck, and you are not alone.
