Justifiable demands !!

Lets tell the AoA to start negotiating for A scale across the board plus 10% Take a leaf from the BA boys book, lets no laonger stand for B, C or F scales and having our terms and conditions eroded by contracting out our jobs, if ever there was a time to stand up and ask for what is rightfully ours................... Great idea.........but people continue to come and take our jobs at reduced pay and benefits. COSAP 08 was another reduction but the Headland Hotel is again full of new recruits. So tell me again why CX would raise everyone's salary.

Of course the Headland is full of new recruits.......but now they are coming off RJ's Dash 8's and 50 seat turboprops.........................and you look a lot more attractive to UPS Fedex or the US Majors with a nice shiny -400 Rating

So go to Fed Ex, UPS or any other airline in your home country. That is why we like the seniority system. Most cannot go back and fly with their major airline and only a few will return. We have stopped hiring from US majors and now as you said, we are hiring second tier pilots. We can get them much cheaper.
There will be many wide body pilots out of work when the USA drops deeper into a recession. Some may be out of work for many years. We are standing by to offer yet another lower COS. So why give a bunch of million dollar morons a pay rise when we can get them to work on a G day for a fraction of the price? We can even get freighter captains for half the price of a passenger captain flying the same aircraft and still work a G day at an even lower price. Now I know why you are pilots, most failed accounting and received A+ in stupidity. Keep up the good work, helping with my bonus and my profit share. The Management. |

Excel and chicken innards!
Based on a very scientific method of first half results, chicken innards and wetting my finger and holding it in the wind, I predict the profit share will be 16 days + $6,000 which is derived from a profit of $6.3billion on turnover(net of recoveries) of $64.9billion. There are a lot of variables so margin of error is probably +/- $5billion on turnover!
For the cabin crew rumour of 4-6 weeks PS to be true we need profit to be $8billion - $9.5billion on that turnover. We will find out in a few weeks if my chicken innards can be relied on;-) |
