Hello all

Are there any SO or JFO that are based in HKG and commute to N.America on their days OFF. is it hard to transfer to any U.S ports after few years of SO on 777. I do have a min for DEFO but was only offerd SO for now:bored:. A friend of mine is A340 SO and was not allowed to transfer to U.S cargo base, why would they say no when are short of crew in cargo side.:confused:

I commuted from HKG to N. America whilst I was at CX. Tried to get over to the cargo side 3 times got shot down all 3 times, ended up going to UPS.

The commute wasn't hard, just expensive as hell! Most of the money I made went right back to CX.
