Neptune Bar. What is the appeal?
 

I was told to visit the Neptune Bar. I have heard about it many times and and googled it. Has anyone been there, and is it not like any other bar? I get lots of "you've got to go this place!" kinda of attitude. Now I'm curious.

Us expat locals don't speak much about it as we all just go there after the night turns ugly when someone calls u a poof if you don't goto Wanchai........

As long as you like Thai, Chinese, Flippers or LadyBoys then you will think the beer tastes extra special inside Neptunes!!!

On weekdays Neptune,New Makati, Fenwick and Laguna populated almost exclusively by working girls.
Only two caveats.
1. Though young pretty and tourists legally in HK most are professionals who have been working girls in their home country and sometimes Japan or Middle East.
2. These bars operate a system of commision to the girls for girls drinks... seems to be around 20-40 HK per drink. Took me YEARS to work out why so many beautiful girls were falling over to accept a drink from me and tell me I was the most witty most intellegent and most handsome man in the world.
