Can someone please give some info about the final discussion of C.O.S. Is there any finalized results? Any input will be appreciated.

I will assume that was a serious question!?

The deal was subject to the AOA GC recommending it to the membership. If that condition was not carried out the deal is no longer offered. The GC voted to reject it.

So, no deal, no payrise! I am not sure about USAB but if you have any friends that have joined since July 1999, they will have the current salary scales.

My opinion - I think that DEFO on the UFO(Unified First Officer) scale will be offered starting next year. I think that CoS08 for extendee's will be offered next year. It will be a voluntary thing and anyone not signing over will retain RA55 and be entitled(if applicable) to bypass pay.

For info, the UFO scales are slightly above current Freighter scales in most places except in the US(UK GBP45K vs FFO1 GBP44K, Aus $92.6K vs FFO1 $92.0K). In the US (in USD) UFO 1 pays about $73K vs FFO1 $63K and pax FO1 $103K.
