how much PIC time do you get as a SO?

as cruise relief pilots, i'm not sure if SOs get much real flying time..

in general, what kind of hours can SOs log in a year with CX?

cheers
E

I think the answer is zero. You have a "P2X" rating which is a cheap way to get you legally in the seat. As far as I am aware no other countries recognise your P2X time.

Real flying time= None. Not allowed in the seat below cruise level. Get to turn the knobs if you happen to be in the RHS (not that frequent) but still logged as P2X.

Well I guess energie was thinking about the JAR FCL regulation where you can write PIC US hours even as a Co-pilot, when you are the PF.

Itīs kind of silly but thats how it is.

So the question of energie is a serious question, maybe he just should have wrote PIC US which means Under Supervision.
