SO Pay Question
 

I'm reviewing the CX Aircrew CoS 99 and found something like this under Salary:

SO's will be paid an additional one quarter of FO year 1 pay after completing six months of service and meet required company standards.

Is this still valid on most situations? I'm guessing you need to be at a certain CATEGORY (meet company standards) to receive this pay. That's extra pay that can make a big difference for a guy (with family) on SO yr 1 pay.

If you read into it...it is 25% of the increment of FO 1 - FO 2 which is one quarter of $1078 HKD...p/m...not a lot really

Secondly you usually won't get Cat A'd until completed SO sim modules 1-6 which takes appx 1 yr so I have not seen this clause used...
