S/O Expectations

With the current expansion plan, how long can a S/O starting in the 1st quarter of 2007 expect for upgrade through to Captain?

Is Cathay considering ordering more aircraft, B747-8?

Who knows

hard to say with the expansion being offset by Direct Entry First Officers. So maybe 4 years as SO and then if the aviation market is still expanding maybe 5 years as an FO. Then one year in the penalty box after you get knocked back from command the first time so I would say TEN YEARS.

Which is still pretty darn quick for command on a heavy !

Third moon, 4th quarter of 2018...unless he is from Canada then it's the fifth moon, 5th quarter, 2015.:}

You can't expect to upgrade in CX...only wish!
