AHK & CX

Hello everyone,

Can someone help me understand what the advantages are for CX to have two independent cargo operations. Why not merge the two? I can't see any cost advantages except maybe the poor guys at AHK are slightly underpaid.

Cathay is in partnership with DHL to own and run AHK.

AHK have rights to places CX don't, e.g. Osaka.

I seem to remember a Cathay freighter flying into Osaka last week, I think it was CX004 ?
