Frankfurt Base.... looking for tip's

Hello guy's, (and girls)

I will be based in Frankfurt some time in the near future and was looking for tip's and trick as to the frankfurt base;

Commuting or not
where to live (with children)
what b&b to use
etc.

so any info on this would be appreciated.
