Existing and ex-Members of the HKAC may be interested to know that Michael is retiring after 38 years serving the Club's bar and restaurant. There will be a retirement party for him at the Club in Kai Tak on the evening of the 30th of April. All members past and present are welcome to bid him farewell.

This weekend for Michael's farewell party. FREE DRINKS from 18.30 to 19.30 and after that I'm sure that the famous bell will be rung by various people for drinks all round.

Re taxi drivers

Reminds me when I was in Itaewon ( Korea ) recently in the main drag and asked driver to take me to Hilton Hotel. He drove me 100 yards to the Hamilton Hotel.!

Yeah - "Sung Wong Toi Road" usually does the trick with the taxi. The driver probably knows Michael after calling taxis for us for the last 38 years !!
