Medical question

I'm starting training in April (DEFO LAX) and wondered how the medical coverage is paid for us and dependents in the US. Do we pay it and get reimbursed or is there another way? Thanks.

I have no idea about medical benefits, just thought it was cool we're in the same boat.

Don't know about where I'm going to live yet. I think I'll wait and get a feel for the schedule, etc.
