My interview is in August in NZ, any tips on what else to study, im busy reading through Handling the big jets. I have done a search on this Forum but that didnt come up with much.

Any extra comments on how to get through the interviews would be greatly appriciated by myself and anyone else with an upcoming interview.

flyingkiwi,

This is only my opinion !

I would'nt waste my time on HTBJ, get your hands on the CX interveiw book!! I know from talking to the Interveiwers that many people get bogged down on technicalities, it is so easy to confuse yourself with tech's ie:Q why does the 744 have fuel tanks in the HS A. NOTHING to do with aerodynamics, purely to make it go further ( burn off is another topic ). I had a friend who went into the HTBJ answer and totally confused himself and everybody in the room.

Point: keep the answer simple, and if you dont know the answer ( and there will be some you dont!), tell them you dont know, Dont Bull!!!!!!!

Good Luck,

HUSTLER

flying kiwi, I would watch out for some of the answers in the book. I found several that were wrong! I would recommend doing the research on each question. These websites have some very useful information as well.
Check out the editorials
