i hope that i would get some advise from all of you especially those who made it through ... i really need to join them and i think this is my last resort ... i'm ready to accept all advise and tips from ya'll ..

Without being rude a330, bu t you are cross-posting on this and other forums.

This one is entitled as shown.

Firstly, A330, best of luck with the application process. However, you should be on the wannabees site. And another thing, when you pick a handle / user name on PPRUNE you should have it reflect who you are. How do you justify your name????

Jennifer Lopez 31st May 2001 05:22

That's right "Busdriver", so why are you then posting here on PPrune, and not over on "CityBus"?

Also, you can please do something about the temprature on "A11", it's a little bit on the cold side...

cpdude 31st May 2001 05:26

It appears wannabees and dumbabees have infiltrated us!

MaxHeadroom 31st May 2001 16:19

It appears from the postings that the largest percentage of people posting from CX are arrogant, self important, obnoxious and out right mean and rude. All of your handles should be "Dick Cranium"

Thrust 31st May 2001 17:00

Gee Max, I resemble that remark. Are you a mate of a330 or just sticking your nose in to insult us all?

a330 you don't endear yourself to the CX crowd with your remarks such as your need of the job as it's your LAST CHANCE etc. Makes us feel just great.... who did you apply to first? Are we really the bottom of your heap? You won't pass an interview with that attitude. And yes you are on the wrong forum. Please think about what you are going to type before you hit the keys. It's the same at the interview, think before you open your mouth. Good advice I promise.

People are hard nosed here that's for sure but I do wish you the best of luck with your application. By the way Max,... have you applied yet or did you have problems with the application form too?

a330 31st May 2001 22:32

hey there thrust ... i know that you guys all are hard nosed , i don't only mean you guys but all of the airlines .. i know that for sure ... i'm also in an airline too .. i'm just looking for better future here and it is for sure that i'm not here to insult all of you guys here .... who said that by the way ??? or do you think i'm a spy ??? i'm just wondering ??? tell me the boys on the big jet can't take a little question from a guy who is looking for a better future and advise ... u know why i post all my questions here ??? 'coz i thought that you guys up there will be able to help someone down here ... !!! and i asked you guys to help 'coz people look up to you !!!

Thrust 1st June 2001 03:53

I know you didn't mean to insult anyone a330. I'm just trying to point out how some post's can come across. I'm afraid that I can't help you as I haven't seen the application form. I filled mine out 13 years ago. Took about 18 months to get an interview and I updated every 6 months or if someting significant changed.

Don't forget that there is always the phone.

Don't lose heart and if it's what you really want give it your BEST shot. No half measures. Find out all you can about the operational aspects of the airline so that when you do get that interview you know what you are getting into. There are many websites besides this one! Gee, I think CX has one too.

Good luck.

wishtobeapilot 1st June 2001 05:40

Thank you Thrust for your kind comments. I understand that some users might think that we're sticking our noses into forums which we don't belong but I guess they haven't visited the Wannabe forum. Otherwise they will know that it only consists of people mainly from UK or Europe. I personally feel like a foreigner there. With Fragrant Harbour, there is a sense of closeness with daily issues which I could relate to. Maybe some are hard nose or arrogant but it's people like you whom we look up to make aviation (CX included) a better place for the future. Please overlook us for asking improper questions. If we knew everything, we might already be working together. Good luck to your cause with CX.

Hey Busdrver, how do'ya like my callsign?

Jennifer Lopez 1st June 2001 06:47

I'm really glad that you picked a correct UserName, that makes one less prson that The Internet Police have to go after...

>>>>And another thing, when you pick a handle / user name on PPRUNE you should have it reflect who you are. How do you justify your name????<<<< For me? I have a big ass...

Herb 1st June 2001 07:04

Hey Thrust have a look at Max's other posts on PPRune. The boy has a problem. You are lucky you didn't get a lecture on the use of the English language ;).
Hey Max...chill out.

a330 1st June 2001 12:18

hi there again guys ... thanks for the postings.. .. firstly , Mr. THRUST ... i've already had a reply from CX and i maybe called up for an interview in the near future ... (hopefully) come on ... i think all of us has to stay together and work things out .. we're all here to help one another not to .... i don't know what to put in there .. u figure that out yourselfs ... and to the others ... of course i know what nick to pick for myself and i don't need any comments on that .. Thanks by the way .. it's my nick not yours..anyhow here's my suggestions ... let's help all of us here either to get through and share our ideas and discussions .. i think that's the reason why PPRUNE was established for .. right ??? just to let you know i've been in PPRUNE since 1998 but i wasn't around due to certain circumstances ... anyhow thanks again for the reply , help , advise , critics , insults and etc .... let's just keep some peace around here ok ???

thanks again and take care .. : )

330, ever done a psych test...

MaxHeadroom 1st June 2001 23:30

The guy a330 was asking for some info and using the usual informalities of the internet. His posting
was not a business letter sent to any one of you, but he was bam blasted for his questions, his
language use and the choice of his moniker. My point was that you guys need to pull your heads
out of you holes and not be so much of a Dick Cranium. But the arrogance with which you mantle
yourselves disallows for you to see yourselves as the arrogant ones you are. This can be proven through reading most of your postings through out this thread and others. Hey guess what you put your pants on just like the rest of us and a330 or someone else may have knowledge in an area that you are uncertain, but your egos of course would keep you from ever asking in the first place
you would rather demonstrate your ignorance that ask a smart question. Duh?

Not so! The same repetitive questions keep getting asked time and time again by wanabees, who are simply too lazy to go back through the archives and see if the question that they are posing has been asked before.
We are in the midst of something far more serious than answering questions from people who have yet to be hired. The answers to all the questions posed can be found in the archives of this forum. Hence the reason for some of the replies.

Max Headroom
Before you go running off at the mouth, you may want to check your grammar first. You may be familiar with the Proverb " Those who live in glass houses etc. Re read your last post to see what I mean.

For all the new applicants, Please check back over the last few months the answers to all the questions you have can be found there!!!
