I know this subject has been rather exhausted but I have a few unanswered questions that I thought you Cathay Chaps/Chapesses may be able to help with.
1.Is the move from S/O to Junior F/O just on company requirments or is there a minimum of hours etc required?
2.After qualifying for junior F/O position you can bid for another base, but to get in the left hand seat would a move back to HongKong be required?
3.Is it really that much of a struggle to survive in Hong Kong on the S/O salary?

How much salary do I get from CPA per month if I work as a S/O based in HKG?

Seeing that you live in HK, and work for HAECO, ask a CX pilot the next time you see one...

I work at TKO... never see a pilot there...
but many workmates are pro Cathay.

Anyway, I don't want to know anymore. I feel happy with my job. HX kicks a*s. :) :) :) :)
