Captain upgrades in hk express

Dear all,

Can someone tell me what is going on the HK express in regards to upgrade to captain?
I am hearing from people that used to work there that it is not possible to upgrade.

99% M.85 upgrade speed if you speak Portuguese or Holding a Brazil passport.
