HKG Companies "siding" with PRC
I'm horrified to read in the Times today that Swires has gone along with HSBC and endorsed the Chinese proposals to curtail Hong Kong's freedoms. Shame on them! This is terrible news and disappointing. There has to be a moral stance as well as profit. What profit?

Merlin had his 'or else' meeting after the rise of the Hong Kong protest movement. There is still open tension between CAAC and the Cathay group - Dragon specifically. Swire will rubber stamp whatever is put in front of them at this point. Nobody should be surprised.

This will last for 40-50 years while they are the worlds superpower then the likes of India will take over from them for the same duration.. round and round we go. The time for full scale wars has been and gone. With globalisation there is no need for costly wars. Just take them over economically and job done. Something the Americans have sadly had realised, they still think military might will prevail. |
So the black shirts are going to vandalised all of them.............
