HKBellawings

Does anyone know anything about this company based in Hong Kong?
Are they still operating?
Didn't get response in the Bizjet forum so thought I would try here.
Thanks

That's normal... you not going to get any reply from 99.9% of these corporate plane operators. Just send your resume and one day long in the future..if you are typed on there fleet you might get an email. Best to look somewhere else, never get your hopes up when applying here. BTW if you speak Mandarin you get a reply one day, instead one day long in the future.

I had it from the horse's mouth they are not so keen on Putonghua speakers...
don't want big ears listening in.

Hello Gents, does anyone know if they accept FAA license or should I ask, do they also have N registered aircraft in their fleet as well?

Climb150 23rd Aug 2020 01:35

A quick Google showed they aren't FAA registered. Out of curiosity, what aircraft are you rated on and how much time on jet?

Pilotkid 23rd Aug 2020 03:54

Okay thanks for the info. At the moment I’m rated on the 604/605 & 601..Only have about 100hrs thus far. Was just enquiring about this for future purposes as I may consider working corporate there.

There was a job in Singapore on the 604 but 200 hours on type is required it seems.

Thanks for that info. Do you have any idea which are the better charter outfits in Asia( HK, Singapore) to work for ?

I beleive TAG Asia has a good reputation. Their main office is in HKG.

Whilst I don't want to put a downer on your research, it's possible that many of the bizjet operators may not be around in 12 months time. If they do survive it will most probably be at a size smaller than pre covid.

There will be thousands of pilots to choose from when the dust settles. So unless you have time on a jet your preferred operators uses, it will be impossible to get hired in maybe the next 2-3 years.

I would apply everywhere as you can't be picky in this environment.
