It is amazing how the bus company says the driver was not tired after doing 3 night duties of 12 hours. Complete negligence on the bus comapny's side!!!

So that makes everything alright then.... :ugh:

When the car component manufacturer I was working for in the mid 1990s acquired a plant in Bangalore which was already making similar products, several of my colleagues were sent to investigate what we'd got ourselves into.

Our production manager was utterly appalled at the primitive conditions and asked what their lost time injury rate was. He reported to us that the reply from the Indian management was "Oh no, no lost time injuries, we always have someone ready to take their (the injured worker's) place!"

Sounds like a perfect candidate for CX management.

If a truly "free market" is desired, then soon you will see your competitor raising a private army, then come marching into your company HQ, killing everyone, and taking all of your assets for themselves. To prevent this, your only option is to hire your own army, to stop them. Free Market means no rules, and no rule of law.
We tried this previously in Our Earth's history, and it didn't work. That is why we now have governments and legal systems.

I thought a law, in this context, existed because a freely unregulated industry is prone to make financial decisions without regard to safety and impact on public health and state costs to pick up the mess. Like the helmet law.
