EFF V2 Beta testing
With the company continuing to roger us to near death, who are '....over 1000 users who have been very active in providing constructive feedback on how the app is working....'? You don't have to be in the AOA to know that you should not be doing anything extra to help the company out. All of us must send the message that we will work in accordance with our contract, nothing more and nothing less.
The 'over 1000' send the message that its ok for the company to continue with the rogering. |
Hmmm, kinda safety related, if you don’t report it, they can’t fix it.. like not reporting a defect in the tech log..

Was pushed to my iPad. I opened used it a couple of times to take a look, does that make me one of the 1,000 testers? |
I was pushed into using an Ipad, does that make me complicit?

AOA
The AOA could have made a statement ! Again, all I hear is silence. What about using my own phone for reserve , charging the iPad with my electricity , using my broadband to update ....

Nothing to do with safety or defects. Its an app for the company to reduce paper use (a good thing) and to reduce dispatch staff (also a good thing as it is a long time since we had experienced and useful dispatchers). So being a beta tester is helping the company out. Next step you might as well become a trainer.

It's a tool to make your job easier. Having the app pushed to your ipad and opening it is hardly helping the company out (if you're really that petty). Plus you can see your next few flights (😉), which begs the question.....
