I remember those doomsday charts where the profit line was Going down and the cost line ( ATK )was going up . If the trend was allowed to continue Armageddon would be the result . They couldn’t control the decreasing profit line due to fixed costs so the only solution was to reduce the cost line . This would be done by reducing pilots pay and conditions
This for everyone who wasn’t here then was the reason for the dispute in 99
