ID travel loads

I see ID Traveller is offline for a month or so. Anyone got a similar website to access other airlines loads for staff travel?

Many thanks in anticipation

StaffTraveler

Try IdDeals. Run by an ex BA cabin crew guy called Ian Wilson and, for a small subscription, gives very up to date loads - unusually including wait listed staff.
Can't speak highly enough of our recent experience with this site.

Many thanks safe and Arfur for these inputs. I found ID traveller very good when it was up and running, even getting the same open figures at check in as ID was giving an hour before.

Thanks corrigin (any relation to the memorable Bruce?) for that. I have gone for Arfur's IdDeals which has a good layout and easy to operate. And I don't mind paying a few quid for a site that can save me time, effort and money.

We'll see how accurate it is when I use it in a couple of weeks for an LH ticket but I think all these ID information sites all use Abacus or Sabre anyway and sell hotel rooms to pay for it. Works for me.

No worries anxiao, hope it all works out for the best, for you.

No, sadly no relation to Bruce.
.....If only I collected a penny for that particular question.

corrigin thanks of the reply. He was a character of the old school who was one of those who built the reputation of CX as a can do will do airline. More in the military tradition of target oriented than task oriented. His style permeated CX until the insurers and IOSA and accountants and management by control took over. I was privileged to have been in CX before the cancer of power and control took over.

As an example of the difference between CX and another airline with staff travel, I have just booked as a retiree on a flight with SK. I have already received the boarding card by email, as there are around 20 seats (14%) open on the flight. Can you imagine CX doing this in your lifetime?

Stay safe out there. Look both ways before crossing the road.

Sadly anxiao, those old school days that you were privileged to be a part of commercial airline history are gone and just like the GST, excise fuel tax and carbon tax (that's another topic altogether) once changes were implemented by the accountants and management, it was for the benefit of one side only.

Our travel system is still not as transparent as other airlines nor 'user-friendly' - on the 'plus side', they now use a microphone and speaker to call out your standby number whereby as you can recall, they shouted out names or spoke soft enough that we'd all huddle up close to confirm the name called out.

Safe travels anxiao.
