YYZ A340-300
 

On my way to work today I saw a CX A340-300 inbound for landing at YYZ around 9:00 am EST and saw it again taking off around 12:00 pm EST. Anyone know where this plane was coming from, I don't think there are any CX A340's flying to YYZ anymore are there? It was a real treat though to see a 4 engine CX plane here.

If it was CX it would have been the 747-8F. 340 hasn't seen YYZ for a number of years.

It was there to drop off the NZ$1 million that was lost at Auckland airport last week. I hear the exchange rate is good this time of year.....

This is kinda sad because it wasn't a A340, it was a cargo 747-8 operating CX85 from JFK-YYZ-ANC-HKG. The cargo usually arrives around 2am in YYZ at night but that day it was delayed.

No offence, but I thought most people recognize a 747 when they see one :ugh:
